So for my Avanced Drawing for Illustration class this quarter, we were each assigned three X-Men characters and told to redesign them, environments, vehicles, and objects for the storyline the teacher provided. This is Cyclops' vehicle. I took a cue from the movie and gave him a motorcycle to make him less of a bitch, starting with the same model as in the movie (albeit a more recent version), the Harley Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, and then modified it a bit. According to my classmates, all of my modifications undid the de-bitchification that giving him a motorcycle did in the first place. But considering it's pretty much the antithesis of my style, I'm proud for the amount of effort that went into it. A couple issues with perspective (the headlight isn't on the right line) and logic (not quite sure how he can turn now), but overall I like it. Best of my finals.
Pencil, then ink on Bristol.
